A young man going to his in-laws’ house to meet his wife died in a road accident in Bettiah. The incident took place near Guruchurava canal of Majhauliya police station area in the district. Here, the police reached the spot after receiving information about the incident, took possession of the body and sent it to the Government Medical College Hospital for postmortem and are busy investigating the matter.
At the same time, Police Station Head Akhilesh Kumar Mishra said that the deceased has been identified as Anil Mahato, 28-year-old son of Kapil Dev Mahato, resident of Sahabajwa village of the police station area. He said that action will be taken by registering an FIR on the application of the family of the deceased in the matter.
According to the information received by the local people, Anil was going from his home late on Friday evening to his in-laws’ house to meet his wife. Meanwhile, he lost control near Guruchurava canal and collided with a tractor laden with bricks, due to which he died on the spot. The young man was married four years ago according to Hindu customs to Reena Devi, 25, daughter of late Vijay Mahato, resident of Baithania.
People told that a tractor loaded with bricks was already parked on the roadside. The youth’s bike went out of control and collided with a tractor-trolley laden with bricks parked on the roadside. The young man died on the spot. At the same time, after the incident, the family members are in bad condition and crying. Here, the police station incharge said that the body has been sent to GMCH Bettiah for postmortem. After postmortem the body will be handed over to the family.
